About Evelyn Stavrinidis

A decade ago, I embarked on an exploration to understand the intricate forces that drive us both internally and externally. It was through the practice of Yoga Nidra that I first felt a profound shift in this potentiality. This initial step set me on a path of knowledge-seeking, which eventually led me to a platform where I could facilitate and express both within therapeutic sessions and in everyday life.

Following my experiences with yoga, I found myself drawn to the study of Qi Gong under the guidance of Gong fu master Tang Li Long in the Wudang mountains, during a brief sojourn in China. Through this practice, I delved into meridian theory and developed a heightened awareness of my physical, mental, and energetic movements, propelling me further on my journey.

Soon after, I immersed myself in the study of Shiatsu and oriental therapies. Starting as a practitioner, my own practice of nurturing Self began to deepen and became a catalyst for walking a particular path.

As I honed my ability to attune to others through touch and voice, delving into the subtle nuances of fascia, a new door swung open, revealing an even more ethereal and anatomically sound paradigm, grounded in evidence based practice: craniosacral therapy and somatoemotional release.

Meditation and breathing, not surprisingly, have been a key to unlocking a remembering of who I am, and, has made a home in my self practice. Aikido and tea have also imprinted and anchored in me. Yoga Nidra, I bow in deep reverence to, after 10 years, it has never wavered to bring me home, restore and inspire awe.

I’m interested in what affects the nervous system, developing a relationship with it and you, and supporting real change for long term benefit.
